Tooth Tally Project

Welcome!  Our class is participating in the Tooth Tally Project with Wilburn Elementary School.  We are counting down the number of teeth lost every day along with 187 other classes. 

This year participating classes are from 31 of the continental United States, as well as,  Canada, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. This is an exciting way for students to learn about communities in other parts of the world along with dental health.

The official tooth tally for Wilburn Elementary School begins February 1 of every year but we have been counting our teeth all year long.  At the end of every month we submit a tooth tally of all lost teeth in that month to all of the participants in our group.  The official tooth count will then be submitted to the Wilburn Elementary web site.   We will be using this information to integrate technology and dental health in with social studies, math, language arts, and science.  Come join us!
